UPDATES

Eli Roth is hoping that he can convince both Brad Pitt and Josh Brolin to star in his upcoming PG-13 sci-fi movie Endangered Species. He also compared it to a mix of Jurassic Park, Transformers and Cloverfield. It's not that big of a stretch considering his friendship with both actors.

Stellan Skarsgård (Pirates 2) has joined the ever growing cast of Thor.

Mark Walhberg will star in an English remake of the Icelandic film Reykjavik-Rotterdam.

Kat Dennings (Defendor) wants to be cast in the adaptation of Hack/Slash. At one point Megan Fox was rumored for the role.

Liam Neeson will have a cameo in Paul Haggis' Next Three Days. British actor Lennie James (Snatch) has also joined the film.

Kevin Smith wants Wil Wheaton to star in his hockey film Hit Somebody. Wheaton is best known for his role as Wesley Crusher on Star Trek: Next Generation and his amazing performance in Stand By Me.

Roxane Mesquida, Thomas Dekker (Sarah Connor Chronicles), Rooney Mara (A Nightmare On Elm Street) and Kelly Lynch (Road House) will star in Gregg Araki's (Smiley Face) new film Kaboom.
