Don Cheadle Confirms Marvel Studios Is Making A War Machine Spin-Off

Don Cheadle while speaking with MTV confirmed Marvel Studios has hired a writer for War Machine and the spin-off is currently in development. Of course this doesn't mean a lot since Marvel has also been developing Nick Fury, Black Widow and Hawkeye solo films. It's expected that War Machine could take over the Iron Man franchise since it's possible that Robert Downey Jr. could walk away after Iron Man 3. Perhaps focusing on Avengers sequels instead. He also puts down previous rumors that he will appear in Avengers.


"They're developing it now, they're working on that. I think they've hired a writer, so we'll see how it goes. It would be a lot of fun.I don't think he shows up in (Avengers). I think he's kind of a lone wolf,"
