HollywoodReporter has news out of Cannes that Gemma Arterton (Hansel & Gretel) and Saoirse Ronan (Hanna) have joined Neil Jordon's (Crying Game, Good Thief, Mona Lisa, Butcher Boy) mother-daughter vampire film Byzantium. Jordan is no stranger to the horror genre as he directed the wonderful The Company of Wolves and Interview With A Vampire. The film focuses on a mother vampire who turns her own daughter into a vampire and the pair form a lethal partnership, sometimes posing as sisters. The film's script is being written by Jane Eyre screenwriter Moira Buffini and is set to start production in October.
