Deadline reports that Marvel Studios has finally cast an actor in the role of Peter Quill/Star-Lord in Guardians of The Galaxy. They have chosen Chris Pratt (Wanted) who is best known for his role on Parks And Rec for Quill. Pratt has also landed roles in Oscar caliber films such as Moneyball and Zero Dark Thirty. He also had a supporting role in Five-Year Engagement alongside Marvel hopefuls Emily Blunt and Alison Brie. James Gunn is looking to shoot the film this Summer in London with an August 1st 2014 release date.
