Not much is known of the project besides the small synopsis on IMDB. The film focuses on a mercenary in Thailand is engaged by a 14 year old girl who gives his life a new meaning. Filming will begin March 8th on location in Thailand. I'm hoping this film is sort of a mix between Taken and Man On Fire.
Djimon Hounsou (Gladiator, The Island) will be the mercenary and Kevin Bacon will play his friend.
Prachya Pinkaew will direct the film and will be his first Hollywood film. He previously directed the the non-stunt-double Thai martial arts films Ong Bak and Chocolate. I'm expecting some serious quality when it comes to the action scenes.
