Necromancer (2009)

Based on the novel by William Gibson and starring Hayden Christensen (Revenge of The Sith). The cyber-punk classic will be directed by Joseph Kahn, who's resume is mostly music videos. Kahn who has limited experience directing feature films, the awful Torque being one. With the addition of the poor acting from Christensen in Jumper and two Star Wars films have fans of the original novel upset. All signs point to a feature that won't have the quality that was in the book. It's a little early to be condemning the movie before any footage has been released. Although the people involved doesn't speak well for it.

"Case was the hottest computer cowboy cruising the information superhighway, jacking his consciousness into cyberspace, soaring through tactile lattices of data and logic, rustling encoded secrets for anyone with the money to buy his skills. Then he double-crossed the wrong people, who caught up with him in a big way -- and burned the talent out of his brain, micron by micron. Banished from cyberspace, trapped in the meat of his physical body, Case courted death in the high-tech underworld. Until a shadowy conspiracy offered him a second chance -- and a cure -- for a price"
