David Fincher's Black Hole

Based on the comic book series, it will be a live-action movie directed by David Fincher. The original screenplay written by Neil Gaiman (Stardust, Coraline) and Roger Avery (Pulp Fiction) was rejected by the studio, so it will either have to be scraped or revised.

I could see Ellen Page (Hard Candy), Reese Daniel Thompson (Rocket Science), Kristen Stewart (Panic Room) and Logan Lerman (3:10 to Yuma, Game, Meet Bill) cast as the main leads.

"Set in the ’70s, Black Hole is a 12-issue comic that followed teenagers who spread “the Bug,” a fictional, incurable STD that causes the sexually-active to develop horrific physical deformities, as well as those who didn’t catch it but reacted to the plague." The comic seems influenced by 70's horror classics such as The Last House on The Left, Carrie and Halloween.
