Universal Pictures has hired Pierre Morel (From Paris With Love) to direct an interesting film based on true events. Pierre Morel's (From Paris With Love) first attempt at a major studio production won't be the sequel to Taken or the untitled C.I.A. film set in Japan. Best known for his international hits Taken and District B13. Morel is more than capable to bring intensity to any sort of thriller or action based film. I can't wait to see what he can do with a studio budget and resources.
"An action thriller is based on the early career on conflict photographer Jason Howe, who fell in love with a woman while on assignment in Columbia, only to later discover after returning from Iraq, that she is an assassin for right-wing death squads."
