Francis Lawrence Directing Marco Polo Adventure Film?


Director Francis Lawernce is busy enough as it is with Water For Elephants, Sgt. Rock and the I Am Legend preuel. Variety is reporting Lawrence is attached to direct an untitled Marco Polo fantasy-adventure film for Warner Bros. The script was written by Adam Copper and Bill Collage the duo wrote the college comedy Accepted. They previously sold a Moses adventure film to 20th Century Fox and Moby Dick film for Universal Pictures with director Timur Bekmambetov (Wanted) attached. Cooper told Variety "We see this as something that takes place in the Orient of our imagination amid the cultural clash of the East and the West".
