Composers Hired For John Carter & Predators
Sometimes some of the most important elements for an action film is it's score. We've seen how well it can improve an experience with last year's Sherlock Holmes, Avatar and Star Trek. When talented composers come on board to score an action or genre film we should expect it will increase the enjoyment of the film.
Robert Rodriguez has hired John Debney to score Predators. The composer has worked on a variety of different projects such as Iron Man 2, Sin City, Passion of The Christ, Cutthroat Island and Spider-Man 2-3. Debney has worked with Robert on many occasions so I'm sure his score will fit the film perfectly.
Disney has hired composer Michael Giacchino to work on the John Carter of Mars score. He recently won an Oscar for his work on Up. Gicchino isn't a stranger to genre films composing scores for Star Trek, MI3, Speed Racer and Jurassic Park II: The Lost World. He's also worked closely with J.J. Abrams scoring television projects such as Lost, Fringe and Alias.
