Previously it was reported Shane Black (Lethal Weapon Series, Last Boy Scout) would be helping write the script for new a Doc Savage film. Columbia Pictures has picked up the project and Black will direct it. This will be Shane's second film his first being Kiss Kiss Bang Bang.
Jonah Hill will star in The Sitter with David Gordon Green (Your Highness, Pineapple Express) directing. The film is said to be a mix of Adventures In Babysitting and Superbad.
Jason Segel (Forgetting Sarah Marshall), Lucy Punch (Hot Fuzz) and John Michael Higgins have joined the cast of Bad Teacher.
Matthew Goode has confirmed auditioning for The Hobbit.
William Hurt who recently played General Ross in Incredible Hulk confirmed he won't be in either Iron Man 2 or Thor. Considering Hulk's timeline is almost in sync with Thor's and Iron Man 2 is before the events of Hulk. It's expected that both Hurt and Tim Roth would be key characters in any new film that featured the Hulk. This doesn't exclude him from Avengers. Some might remember Stark approaching Ross to join the initiative.
Bruce Willis is hopeful Die Hard 5 could start shooting sometime next year.
