IESB is reporting that Zombieland screenwriters Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick will write the G.I. Joe: Rise of The Cobra sequel. The pair recently finished a script for the Venom spin-off and were just hired by 20th Century Fox to write Deadpool. This might put a hold onto the script development for Zombieland 2, although they've said they had enough material written for a television series.
