Similar to Hurt Locker, Brothers gives an honest look into the life of soldiers and their families. The film deals with the most difficult aspects of war, having love ones fighting overseas and the effects of P.T.S.D with returning soldiers. The child actors do steal most of the scenes and I'm sure they'll be giving other young actors a run for their money in the coming years. It's another dark film but it does have an important message and could be one to watch during the award season. Tobey Maguire's chilling standout performance could earn him an Oscar nomination for Best Actor.
