NEWS/RUMORS (Jan 18th)

Variety reports Clark Gregg will reprise his role of SHIELD Agent Coulson in Thor. He's previously played the SHIELD Agent in Iron Man and Iron Man 2. Gregg is a great addition to the Marvel film universe.

Johnny Pacar is the second unknown actor to have auditioned for Captain America. He used his twitter account to confirm the tryout. It looks like Marvel Studios is looking for someone even less known than Chris Hemsworth. He seems a bit young for the role maybe it was for Bucky Barnes.

"Just read for Captain America. what a role to get. if only."

According to a Hawaiian newspaper Pirates of The Caribbean On Stranger Tides will start production there in June. Still holding their summer 2011 release date.

John Campea from the AMC Entertainment blog is confirming a story that was in the Sun. It boasted that Tobey Maguire has signed onto play Bilbo in The Hobbit. I'm sure we'll be hearing official news from the studio if this is true.UPDATE: Guillermo del Toro himself denied this on TheOneRing, so it's debunked!

Here is the first official still from Inception. There have been rumors that the image reveals a clue about the film.

Many wild casting rumors for the Spidey reboot have been flooding in. The best of the group is Joesph Gordon-Levitt. Director Marc Webb recently said he is a big fan of Ultimate Spider-Man.

ComicBookMovie has artist Adi Granov revealing his artwork for a Fing Fang Foom teaser that will show up in Iron Man 2. Jon Favreau previously stated he'd love to use the villain in future films. I expect Fing Fang Foom and the Mandarin could be connected somehow in Iron Man 3.

"I'm writing a comic book now with [Marvel artist] Adi Granov," he said. "Where Fin Fang Foom is the bad guy. That's what I want to see, but I don't know if I want that in the movie right now. Eventually I'd love to get to the point where the movie could accept that and you could develop a reality where that could work."

"This was my design for Fin Fang Foom for the Iron Man Viva Las Vegas book I was doing with Jon Favreau. But this image in particular was done for the IM movie and used as a billboard in one of the scenes where Iron Man flies past it. It's very quick, but Jon wanted to have a kind of a cool Easter egg in there."
