David Fincher's Ness (TBA)
While it's unknown which project David Fincher will do next. One of those projects seems to be "Ness". According to Entertainment Weekly Paramount will have until December 15th before the rights to the film will expire. It will need to be greenlit by the studio before that date so that the studio can have Fincher direct. The film will focus on Elliot Ness the famous nemesis of Al Capone. Based on the graphic novel "Torso". Matt Damon and Casey Affleck will star. Rachel McAdams (Sherlock Holmes) has also expressed interest in the project.
"Torso tells the story of the real life "Torso Murderer", a serial killer who was active during 1934 to 1938. He recevied his nickname because he left only the torsos of his victims. Without fingerprints or dental records, these victims were very difficult to identify in a time before DNA testing. The investigator on the case was Eliot Ness, Cleveland chief of police and former head of the Untouchables."
