While many would like to see writer/director Neill Bloomkamp make the Halo movie he originally pitched with producer Peter Jackson. It seems that the first time director reaching number 1 at the box office with his first film, he can make any film he wants. Considering the modest 30 million dollar budget for a movie that easily looked better than 100-200 million dollar summer blockbusters. Bloomkamp is thinking about making a sequel being rumored as "District 10". While I won't give away the ending the film does open itself for a bigger sequel. Bloomkamp is a rare talent and he's going to gain a large following very quickly. It's also noted that Sharlto Copley will quickly become a star, his performance really made the movie.
