Based on the short story by Philip K. Dick. The story centers on Ed Fletcher, a real estate salesman, who discovers that our world is really, in effect, one large soundstage controlled by strange and mysterious guardians. Writer/director George Nolfi (Bourne Ultimatum, Ocean's Twelve) has stated that there will be many changes from the original story. "David Norris a smooth-talking congressman whose political future is thrown in doubt by uncontrollable events and the arrival in his life of a mysterious ballerina." Matt Damon stars along with Emily Blunt (Sunshine Cleaning, Wolfman), Anthony Mackie (Hurt Locker) and Shohreh Aghdashloo (House of Sand & Fog).
