Variety reports that George A. Romero is looking to remake Dario Argento's Deep Red/Hatched Murders. The two actually co-directed film a once and Dario helped finance Dawn of The Dead in return for international distribution rights. This is beyond bizarre but it would be interesting to see a horror master remake a peer's film. I'm curious to see Romeo step back from the zombie genre and with talk of two more Dead films I hope this one is next.
