MarvelousNews has been following the twitter account of actor Kevin Pennington (90210). The young actor recently had a meeting with Marvel and revealed a three picutre deal. The site points out clues they've gathered from their sources. First it's indeed with Marvel Studios, his character will be featured in Avengers and the role is a S.H.I.E.L.D. agent. Marvel Studios had been testing like crazy during the casting of Captain America with mostly unknowns. I'm sure they were putting the young actors through multiple testings for different roles.
With the recent news from Sam Jackson about the S.H.I.E.L.D. movie being in development. They'll have to exclude characters like Iron Man, Thor and Hulk. I expect the lineup could be Fury, Widow, Cap, Coluson and possibly Hawkeye. When looking at Kevin's picture Hawkeye comes to mind. Clint Barton (Hawkeye) has been mentioned since Iron Man 2 and Jeremy Renner had been interested in the role.
