Showbiz411 reports that Christopher McQuarrie (The Usual Suspects) has finished the first draft of the sequel to X-Men Origins: Wolverine. The film is based on the Frank Miller/Chris Claremont solo series. Set in Japan it will focus on his martial arts training and a love story. The site also claims the film could start production next January. This confirms Hugh Jackman's previous statement of the film shooting in 2011. McQuarrie was an uncredited contributor to the X-Men script so he understands the character and the Singer/X-Men world.
