Hugh Jackman has confirmed the Wolverine sequel set in Japan will begin production in 2011. He'll first shoot Real Steel during the summer. I assume everyone is happy with the script Christopher McQuarrie has been developing for the project. It won't be too long before we start hearing the name of the director. I expect we'll be seeing a late May or early June 2012 release date for the film. This means Wolverine 2 could be released between Avengers and Star Trek 2. The 2012 summer lineup could be very exciting.
