Kevin Munroe (TMNT) is putting together a new live-action film which sounds too good to be true. Munroe states the project as a mixture of Gremlins, Shaun of The Dead and Aliens. Hong Kong action star Sammo Hung pictured above, has been cast in the film. I was a bit skeptical of Munroe considering his kid friendly projects. That was until I heard this quote from Munroe; "I wouldn’t be surprised if this was NC-17! It’s very hard R, really inventive kills, and a lot of splatter."
"The story follows a janitor who, during a Christmas holiday, gets trapped in an underground research facility with military-trained Rhesus monkeys."
