Grayskull: Masters of The Universe (2010)
Producer Joel Silver and Warner Bothers are looking to bring back the 80's icon He-Man back to the big screen. This time featuring a fantasy style storyline and world. Heading into production with a script by Justin Marks (Hack Slash). Latino Review has recently reported that John Stevenson (Kung Fu Panda) will be directing. Everything seems to be coming together quicker than expected.
Stevenson has a large creature effects background, working for The Henson Company since the late 70's. He's worked on two of my favorite children's movies from the 80's The Dark Crystal and Labyrinth. Both films were milestones in puppetry and body suit effects. A perfect fit for the world of He-Man, which is filled with odd creatures.
