Martin Scorsese and Robert De Niro are teaming up yet again for a film based on the novel " I Heard You Paint Houses". The title is a reference to mob slang for contract killings ."Painting houses" refers to blood being painted all over walls and floors during a hit. The novel features real life hitman Frank "The Irishman" Sheerman who ranked up more than 25 mob contract kills. He was also suspected of killing Jimmy Hoffa when he disappeared. I think this was a great move by De Niro since his last couple of films haven't been much to speak of. I think this project along with his rumored involvement with Michael Mann's Frankie Machine have roles that people will remember him for.
