Larry Clark (Kids, Bully) will be writing/directing the remake of the Neil Jordan (The Good Thief) film of the same title. An ex-con takes a job as a chauffeur for a high-class escort and he eventually falls in love with her. This sounds like a great film to be remade along with excellent casting. My only issue is with Clark directing, since his recent projects have been pornographic in nature. I have my doubts a major studio would allow him to helm a feature like this unless it becomes independent. That being said I'm a fan of his films Kids and Bully. If Clark does direct he would more than likely make a shocking and dark film. Bob Hoskins who played the chauffeur in the original, won best actor at the 1986 Cannes Film Festival and was nominated at the 1987 Oscars.

Mickey Rourke (Wrestler) will play the chauffeur. While French actress Eva Green is in talks to play the high-class escort.
