Set Photo Reveals Full Spidey Costume & Web Shooters

MTV was able to get this new set photo from the new Spider-Man film. It's our first full glimpse of the new Spidey costume with mask and web shooters. If you look close the web shooter device is clearly on Andrew's wrist.

Peter Parker's Parents Cast & New Villain For Spider-Man

Some exciting Spider-Man casting news from HeatVision they reveal Sony has cast Campbell Scott (Damages) and Julianne Nicholson (Law & Order: Criminal Intent) as Peter's parents Mary/ Richard Parker. We've never seen the two featured in the films or even an explanation of how they died. It will be interesting to see how they fit into the story.

Irrfan Khan best known to western audiences as the policeman from Slumdog Millionaire will play a new villain. He'll play scientist Van Atter who has connections to Norman Osborn and the Goblin experiments. Eventually becoming Proto-Goblin, an early test subject of the goblin formula. I assume this means we'll be hearing casting for Harry and Norman soon.

Rhys Ifans To Play Villain In Spider-Man

Deadline reports Sony has hired their villain for Marc Webb's Spider-Man reboot. Rhys Ifans has been cast as the film's villain yet it's unknown which one it is. There have been rumors of Venom returning along with the possibility of the Green Goblin since there is connection with Gwen (Emma Stone). Yet Sony could be giving us a new villain like Electro, Scorpion or even the Vulture.
