DREAM CAST: ANTMAN

While an official announcement hasn't been made there were rumblings during Cannes recently that Ant-Man has been indeed greenlit by Marvel. There has been talk that there could be Ant-Men involved in the story giving the impression Scott Lang and Eric O'Grady will be included. Simon Pegg has mentioned that he'd rather play the villain Egghead in the film instead of Hank Pym. Bradley Cooper had been one of the few actors linked to the lead role. While it's unlikely Ultron will be the main villain of the film he could still show up as Hank's "life-model decoy" or a more industrial version. We know androids exist in the Marvel universe as Iron Man 2, Avengers and Captain America have established this.

Jonah Hill & Sam Worthington In Live-Action MW3 Ad

I'm not big on video games but some do have amazing mythology or great ad campaigns. MW3 lands into the area of great ad campaign as this new live-action commercial is very effective. Actors Jonah Hill (Superbad, 21 Jump Street) and Sam Worthington (Avatar, Wrath of The Titans) star as The Vet and The Noob. There have been talks of making a movie from the Modern Warfare games which was hinted by Kevin McKidd (Rome, Trainspotting) who played Soap in the last installment. This latest ad might be the angle to go with if they ever did. An action comedy could end up better than taking the whole thing too seriously.

Juan Carlos Fresnadillo Directing Highlander Reboot

Deadline reports that Juan Carlos Fresnadillo (28 Weeks Later) has officially been set to direct the Highlander remake. Previously Justin Lin (Fast Five) had been in talks but it looks Lin isn't taking the job. Juan Carlos Fresnadillo is a decent director and boosted Danny Boyle's infected franchise with his sequel. He's also linked to The Crow remake but I'm sure Highlander will go first as a script from Art Marcum and Matt Holloway (Iron Man) is further in completion.

My choice to play Connor MacLeod would be Kevin McKidd. The Scottish actor has had some impressive roles including Trainspotting and the HBO series Rome. McKidd had been a fan favorite to portray Marvel Studios' Thor along with Daniel Craig.
