He'll be directing the globe-trotting thriller Our Kind of Traitor which is based on the novel by John le Carre (George Smiley series) and adapted by Hossein Amini (Drive). It follows the relationship between a young couple and a charismatic Russian criminal, who persuades them to help defect. The thriller takes place in London, Paris, Moscow and Tangiers.
