GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY Shooting This Summer In The UK
While there's been of a lot of development concerning casting for James Gunn's (Slither, Super) Guardians of The Galaxy. There hasn't much talk about when and where production was going to take place. ScreenDaily reports that production on the cosmic team film is expected sometime this Summer. Pinewood's Shepperton Studios will be hosting the production who have had other large films shoot there previously. Those credits include Prometheus, Sherlock Holmes 2, Captain America: The First Avenger, Kick-Ass, John Carter, Jack Ryan, Maleficent, Robin Hood, Clash/Wrath of The Titans, The Wolfman and Harry Potter And The Half-Blood Prince.
It's possible (not confirmed) that Marvel could end up revealing some test-footage or even a scene or two (depending on actual production start date) this July at SDCC13. Similar to what Edgar Wright presented at last year's event. However, I would expect that Marvel would also include a pannel with James Gunn and the cast. Along with major promotion for Thor: The Dark World with a pannel and footage as well.
