Ratner Talks Youngblood, Will It Ever Happen?
Brett Ratner has come out of hiding to speak to MTV about the progress of his Youngblood film. It's been 9 months since we last heard it was being written, he explains it's script is still in development. Ratner seems vauge when the project will end up going into production. Comic book films are now one of the most successful genres so hiring respected screenwriters it shouldn't take too long for the script's turnout. Youngblood which is essentially a rip-off of X-Men it shouldn't be hard to come up with financing or scripts. Ratner seems to love to get his name in the news without turning out films. He's been attached to God of War, Escape From New York and Conan but none of it worked out. He's still somehow involved with Beverly Hills Cop 4 which is stuck in limbo. If you haven't guessed I'm not a fan of his work and I believe he's overstayed his welcome in Hollywood. I hope he either gets bored and another director is hired or the project gets the axe.
