Tarantino's next dream project after he completes both parts of "Inglorious Bastards" will be a remake of the Russ Meyer's 1965 camp classic. Death Proof his previous film had borrowed from the film, but didn't include the original plot and characters. It was more of a nod than a homage which the new project will be. Rumored to be involved in the movie is playboy bunny/porn starlet Tera Patrick and Eva Mendes (The Spirit). In a previous interview Tarantino mentioned that he would look to also have Britney Spears and Kim Kardashian. I hope this was his attempt at humor or they would just have cameos. I've been a huge fan of the Meyer's films and I think it's about time someone made another sexy camp exploitation film.
"Three strippers seeking thrills encounter a young couple in the desert. After dispatching the boyfriend, they take the girl hostage and begin scheming on a crippled old man living with his two sons in the desert, reputedly hiding a tidy sum of cash. They become houseguests of the old man and try and seduce the sons in an attempt to locate the money, not realizing that the old man has a few sinister intentions of his own."
