Terrance Howard Joining Marvel's Luke Cage?

There has been lots of questions pertaining to Terrance Howard's exit from the Iron Man franchise. Now there is talk of Terrance back in talks with Marvel Studios. He mentioned to E!Online that recently talked to the studio. Terrance had been in talks for Luke Cage before he was cast in Iron Man. While some might think it's not possible for Howard to be cast as another Marvel character. I believe Luke Cage could be similar to Punisher and Blade being set outside of the Avengers film universe.
