Vincent D'Onofrio, Amy Ryan, Vinnie Jones And 50 Cent Join 'THE TOMB'

Variety reports that Vincent D'Onofrio (Full Metal Jacket), Vinnie Jones (Snatch), Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson and Amy Ryan (Gone Baby Gone, The Wire, The Office, Green Zone) have joined the action thriller The Tomb. It already stars Sly Stallone, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Jim Caviezel which is set in a super prison with it's designer (Sly) framed for a crime he didn't commit. He uses his extensive knowledge of the prison's layout to escape with the help of fellow prisoners.

Jim Caviezel Joins Sly And Arnold In The Tomb

ACIN (via FlimStage) stumbled upon an interview with producer Mark Canton (Immortals) and he confirms the addition of Jim Caviezel in The Tomb. The prison thriller pits Sly Stallone against the super prison he designed when he is framed for a crime and has to escape the prison to figure why. One of the helpful inmates will be played Arnold Schwarzenegger of course. Caviezel (Passion of The Christ) is gathering a resurgence with television roles in The Prisoner and Person of Interest, he'll play the warden.

Sly And Arnie Could Team Up Again For The Tomb

AICN reports that the Sly Stallone prison thriller The Tomb could be getting another legendary action star added to it's cast. They say that Arnold Schwarzenegger is circling another role in the movie as well. The two recently worked together on Expendables 2 and Arnold is currently wrapping production on The Last Stand. Stallone will play a high-tech prison designer who is framed and put into a prison he helped create. He tries to escape using his knowledge of the facility and figure out why he was framed. Arnold's role isn't revealed but I assume he could playing a fellow inmate.

Deadline reports that director Mikael Hafstrom is interested in helming the film. Hafstrom is best known for directing The Rite and 1408. Originally the project was set to star Bruce Willis with director Antonie Fuqua (Training Day).
