SPOILERS: Possible IRON MAN 3 Concept Art May Confirm Rumors Of A Connection To GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY
A new piece of possible Iron Man 3 concept art (via CBM) has found it's way online. A toy image featuring a new Iron Man deep space suit armor (Mark XXVI) was leaked a few weeks back. That seemingly confirmed LatinoReview's reveal that Iron Man 3 would have a link to Guardians of The Galaxy at the end of the film. It's likely that this new concept art could be from another toyline (Hasbro?). However, with the massive amount of suits that will be seen in the film teased with the hall of armor, it's possible we could see this in the film as well. Robert Downey Jr. also gave hints to cameos in Iron Man 3 in this interview with EW.
“Everywhere you look now in every Marvel movie there are opportunities where certain new pals of his (Tony’s) could be useful. So they’re in the atmosphere, so to speak, but I wouldn’t expect to see them on the ground in this one.”
There have been rumblings that Tony could end up apart of the Guardians lineup because of his recent inclusion to the Guardians team in the new comics. That rumor doesn't seem solid considering Avengers 2 is expected to begin production not to long after Guardians wraps. While Robert is making a mint from his roles in Marvel films (7-8% of the gross for every Marvel film he appears in) it's unlikely he would make three of these films back to back. As RDJ just recently completed final shots for Iron Man 3.
