It's seems like we'll be seeing much more of Sebastian Stan (Red Dawn, Black Swan) as Bucky Barnes in future Marvel films. While Chris Evans has agreed to eight additional Marvel films. Stan has also signed a similar to deal to star in five to six films, this according to eCanadaNow.
Considering Captain America is going to be the only time we see Cap's WWII adventures it's safe to say that Bucky will be given a super soldier formula as well. The feeling is that they could be ditching the sidekick aspect of Bucky Barnes to develop him into Winter Solider. It's already been reported that Bucky would be close to Cap's age, which is already a deviation from the original comic. Bucky is frozen alive and is revived by Soviets and programmed as a political assassin. Stan lived in Austria and Romania as a child so it's possible that being multi-lingual could help prove this aspect. I believe that this could very well blend the storylines of Barnes and Black Widow. Bringing the character closer to joining the Avengers since it's unlikely Marvel will be able to introduce Ant-Man or Wasp to the lineup. I also expect we could be seeing some members of the Invaders joining as well.
