REVIEW: Tony
We've seen many films and even television shows focusing on serial killers. Most of them are unrealistic portrayals. The really only real film was Henry: Portrait of Serial Killer which Tony is strongly getting compared to. I have to agree it's eerie and somber mood makes it feel more like a documentary than an adrenaline fueled American crime thriller. There are brutal graphic scenes which could be hard for most to watch. If you understand the nature of the subject matter you'll understand the film a bit more. It's not for everyone but it's still an interesting film. Tony isn't reinventing the wheel in the genre but it does highlight the talents of both writer/director Gerard Johnson and actor Peter Ferdinando.
