Wes Anderson's Fantastic Mr. Fox is just about to be released in wide release. It's also on the list of 20 animated films that could be nominated for Best Animated Film at this year's Oscars. His next film is based on the 2006 French film My Best Friend. Re-titled The Rosenthaler Suite. The main character is a ruthless art dealer forced to recognize that he has no friends, who then conscripts a cabbie to pretend to be his best friend in order to win a bet. It's nice to see Wes jumping right into another production.
The Playlist was able to get a copy of the script and feel that Wes has written parts for certain actors. They believe there are roles perfect for George Clooney (Up In The Air), Jason Schwartzman (Funny People), Anjelica Huston (Choke) and Fred Melamed (A Serious Man).
