Josh Brolin Replaces Clive Owen As Dwight In SIN CITY: A DAME TO KILL FOR

Robert Rodriguez is quickly putting together his supporting cast for Sin City: A Dame To Kill For. As recent additions Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Christopher Meloni have given the impression that this sequel could be something very special. Josh Brolin (Gangster Squad, Planet Terror, MIB3, Oldboy) has now been confirmed by the studio (via ThePlaylist) for the production as well. He'll be playing Dwight a pre-plastic surgery version of the character played by Clive Owen in the original film. Originally, Angelina Jolie had been eyed for the role of Ava Lord the "dame" Dwight kills for in the comic. It's possible that Robert might be looking at other actresses to fill the role. Owen had been mentioned in recent reports from Deadline so it's possible he'll still be involved in the film just in another role.

Christopher Meloni Joins SIN CITY: A DAME TO KILL FOR

Deadline reports another new addition to the cast of Sin City: A Dame To Kill For. They say that Christopher Meloni will be playing a cop in the film which could mean he's playing a baddie. Meloni recently had a supporting role in Warner Bros' Superman reboot Man of Steel. Josh Brolin (Planet Terror, Oldboy, Gangster Squad) is still being mentioned for a seperate part in the film. The rest of the cast includes Joseph Gordon-Levitt (Looper), Mickey Rourke (Wrestler), Clive Owen, Bruce Willis, Dennis Haysbert (24, The Unit), Jamie Chung (Sucker Punch, Hangover 2), Jamie King, Jessica Alba (Machete Kills) and Rosario Dawson (Trance).

RUMOR: Bradley Cooper Playing Lex Luthor?

Bradley Cooper has been choosing a lot of odd projects lately which run the gauntlet of comedy, indie, action, blockbuster, genre and drama. Today's big rumor of the day brings Cooper back to the world of comic book roles. CosimicBookNews (via ComicBookMovie) "reports" that now that Paradise Lost's production is on hold Warner Bros. is looking for Cooper to make a cameo in Man of Steel as Lex Luthor.

At the moment this nothing but an interesting rumor but if the studio is really intent on making more Superman films Cooper isn't a bad casting choice for Lex. It had been mentioned a while back the studio might be already working on a sequel to Man of Steel. If true it could end up as brief as Russell Crowe's cameo as Jor-El, Superman's father.

Bradley had been previously rumored for Edgar Wright's Ant-Man. He also had some interest in Hal Jordan (Green Lantern) before being replaced by Ryan Reynolds and Eric Draven in the now dead Crow reboot.
