Another amazing cult film of the 80s is also being remade. The original film by Tony Scott which starred David Bowie, Catherine Deneuve and Susan Sarandon, was a high art concept of the vampire genre. A contemporary vampire tale that focused on the thriller elements rather than the gore and vampire lore. I understand that anything that has vampires is hot these days. I just hope Warner Bros. takes it's time and Tony Scott is involved.
