This time being in talks for Legend being written and directed by Brian Helgeland (42, Mystic River, Man On Fire), who is known for writing L.A. Confidential which earned him an Oscar (also nominated for his screenplay for Mystic River). Hardy would play real-life gangster twin brothers, that were apart of the London criminal underworld during the 1950-60s.
"The film will be based on the true story of Ronald and Reginald Kray, sibling toughs from the 1950s and 1960s who rubbed shoulders with celebrities while also taking part in murder, armed robbery, arson, racketeering, assault, and more."
