Deadline reports that Sony has selected Danish director Nicolas Winding Refn (Drive) to direct The Equalizer which has Denzel Washington attached to star. While nothing is finalized, talks will start with the aim for Refn to start production in Spring 2013. His next crime thriller Only God Forgives starring Ryan Gosling will be released in 2013.
