Deadline reports that cinematographer Larry Smith is set to make his directorial debut with Trafficking. The film set in Australia would focus on the Vietnamese-run drug world. It's written by Ken Kwek who also wrote The Blue Mansion which Smith worked on. Nicolas Winding Refn will be a producer on the thriller. Smith previously shot Bronson and the upcoming Only God Forgives for the Danish director. Larry has also shot some beautiful films such as Eyes Wide Shut and The Guard.
